The water views are beside this garage. Extensive renovations have taken place on the home, but not on the garage. Seller thinks the garage should become a guest house since the water views are so peaceful, or possibly a second floor build over the garage. Electric is installed in the garage.
View of sitting room, 18x16 with fireplace. Chimney was rebuilt beginning of 2006, when the new architectural tile roof was installed.
The front entrance of the house has a vestibule, carved wood door with beveled window. To the left of the front entrance is a small mud room with storage under the window seat. The foyer is 7 x 14.
The dining room with bow windows is 16 x 16 just off the butler's pantry. Pity a butler doesn't convey.
I have avoided the kitchen, which has gas stove and refrigerator, both 1 years old, 12 x 12 filled with light, but the kitchen is not of the standards of the house. The Seller does have a wonderful interior decorator on the job that will remodel the kitchen to fit the Purchaser. All the woodwork is original to the house including this ornate banister.
View of second floor landing. The room to the left of the photo is small but was a 6 x 6 office, with large windows. All the rooms feel larger because the ceiling in all the rooms is 10 to 11' in height. This room would still make a lovely little office.
View from the third floor bedroom 15 x 15. Adjacent to this is an 18 x 20 attic space, or could easily become the space to expand.
There have been recent renovations and still more to come. The new porch roof will be constructed shortly. We are just finishing up the new 1st floor full bath. Plus Dan is going to sand the oak door and seal.
View of southeast portion of home. The roof is new all the way to the rafters.
