Through every window in the home as well from the sunroom, there are views of the incrediable gardens. The beauty is they are all evergreens or perennials that only need a bit of pruning and fertilizer from time to time.

Smithland really is the perfect location for an Inn, just 1/2 mile from the state highway, therefore making it an easy find. Also the grouds and stately charactor of the homes is most elegant location for weddings, family reunions.

This is the same room as the above photo. This room made me feel as though the world could be shut out and my life would be gracious and elegant from here on out.

The 1600 sq' guest house, perfect for Inn Keepers quarters is set apart from the main house in just the right spot, one can see the main and back entrance of the house from the guest house. To the far right is the smoke house and just to the left of that building set back is the guest house, and to the far left is a partial view of the back elevation to the main house.

The guest house is said to be older than the main house, although no records can be found. There is central air and heat by heat pump, a woodstove, and each room has an electric wall unit as well.
