There are many new windows throughout the house. I particularly like the application of the Cedar shakes and the French doors into the breakfast room.
The color combinations and texture of the wood and Cedar combined with the mature planting is lovely.
The grounds are cleared to the woods and landscaped then there are vast amount of woodlands surrounding the property. Not another house to be seen.
Shall we enter; here is a view of the foyer and original banister.
This kitchen while being 11 x 12, seems to have the best of everything and the amount of counter space you would see in a much larger space, for the double under-counter refrigerators, gas cook top, and under-counter oven really do the trick, oh I almost forgot for its so quiet, the Bosch dishwasher.
The wood ceilings of the kitchen combined with the bright breakfast room give a Tuscany feel.
View of dining room 14 x 16, with fireplace and adjacent screened porch.
The screen porch overlooks the woodlands.
There is a back staircase from the dining room, every house should have these, one can retrieve a cupper in there pj's without views from the other rooms.
Sorry for such a horrid photo, this is the sitting room with fireplace as well and wood floors being 14 x 18.
Buddy is waiting for us to view up stairs; this is the landing to the guest bedroom, which gives privacy.
This bedroom fits 2 twin beds quite comfortably and having 3 large windows is bright as can be. 10 x 16 with adjacent ½ bath.
The other end of the bedroom above.
View from landing of ½ bath.
Master bedroom is 14 x 18 and also with many windows and excellent light. Each of the bedrooms has a landing, and own entrance. There is also a sewing room 4 x 8 off the Master bedroom.
There are many mature planting about the ground, yet the river birch is my favorite.
