This picture was taken from a deer stand. It was easy getting up but down is another story. The view is spectacular and expansive over the Machipongo River and its marshes, you can really view your kingdom. Because of the mature pines and hardwoods, it's very easy to walk around. No wild bushes
or vines grabbing at your pant legs and shoes.
The day these photos were taken, I saw several deer, geese and ducks. I even saw red headed woodpeckers and quail. The property is well off the main road, is secluded,
private, while being nestled between the towns of Wachapreague and Quinby. Wachapreague has 2 marinas 3 boat launches and a tackle and bait shop as well as 2 restaurants. Quinby has a marina and public boat and kayak launches.
Looking north on the Machipongo from Quinby bridge.
Yes sir. Mother Nature & Father Time.
