This barn is set well enough away from the home yet close enough to hear the extended family (livestock). There is a old gas pump and electric and water at the barn.
I should have lifted the shades for the view of Hunting creek is lovley. This sitting room is 24 x 18 with gas log insert.
The details such as this raised panel is all custom and ads a great deal of warth to the room.

The sun room/winter porch with cermaic tile floors, hence passive solar heating, which is adjacent to the dining room with expansive views of Hunting creek.
It was moving day so I don't have proper photo of the foyer, that is quite a size, approximatley 14 x 18.

A view of the second floor kitchen. The second floor was converted into a seperate living quarters with 1 bedroom, full bath, eat-in kitchen and sitting room. No structual changes, therefore making it quite easy to revert back to orginial state.
The land has excellent elevation and even though today you would not be allowed to build so near the water as this home and deck is, since the land is so high no issues.
Completely floors is this massive attic.
While it is wonderful having all the frontage on the salt water creek, its also lovely to have a fresh water pond. There will be a whole array of wildlife that will be attracted to the fresh water. Here is the path to the pond, which has 2000' of frontage.
The land meets the criteria of a proper farm. While excellent pastures it has been farmed for many years, which has provided enough income to pay the taxes on the property.
The town of Parksley is within 10 minutes time and yet you'll have so much privacy since th house is set well back from the road. I suppect the road is nearly a mile and its in excellent condition with the best of roads here on the Shore "clam shell".
