Ceiling heights are 10" throughout with plaster walls in excellent condition. The arched stairwell entrance and fine handcrafted banister is a good example of the details throughout the home.
I did no justice in this dining room photo for it is quite lovely with freshly painted walls, gleaming hardwood floors and a marble fireplace that I've only see one in the same in an estate in Eastville. 20 x 15. Access through the dining room in days gone by would have been called the men's smoking room, but today we refer to as the den, it is approximately 12 x 15
One can't help but smile when you see the kitchen, seems stop in time. Heavy wood cabinetry, pine floors, adjacent pantry and screened porch. 16 x15. The children at play around Mother in the kitchen seemed so timeless and the functionality of the kitchen so fitting.
1953 the range was installed and works to perfection to this day, presently is so cool.
The second floor has three bedrooms and a sitting room off the master bedroom all with hardwood floors, center hall and full bath. This room has bowed windows two closets scaled with mirrors and the room is 18 x18.
The next bedroom is 18 x 16 with access to the attic.
Small view of the sitting room off the Master bedroom 10 x 12, the Master bedroom being 18 x 14.
Side elevation of the home, all the eves with protruding rafters and different pitches of the roof add such character to the home. The aluminum siding I actually had to touch to believe it was so for the design leads one to believe it to be bead and board clapboard
Exiting the screened porch and enjoying the character of the house.
Haven't a clue what that object is in the photo but for the sake of providing you a glimpse of the portico now shall post. New photos coming shortly. The ½ acre of grounds appears large for the house is set well back from the side walk lined road, and the property is tree lined. In my over opinionated opinion this house is extremely fairly priced.
