There are several small communities that have relied on the Harborton General store, for years on end.
The cottage and workshop are directly behind the store, there is also a Cape Cod that is under construction adjacent to the store that is being sold by same Seller; see R#41 under countryside.

One must pass this store when leaving Hacksneck and Harborton, including myself the store has saved me many times.
This portion of the store has always been a popular gathering spot either just before a fishing or hunting day begins or ends.
Here's a view of town dock in Harborton on Pungoteague creek. It is an easy navigation to and from the Chesapeake Bay. I've sailed in and tied up alongside this dock with no worries, 13' at MLW in the well marked channel. There is a new public boat ramp facility just another 2 blocks away, yet this dock carries many a tale.
