This is Refuge, it has been rented for $500.00 per month in the past. There is a huge brick chimney running up through the middle of the 2 rooms. It has an electric stove, refrigerator, new shower and a fabulous wood stove insert. The chimney keeps the house nice and warm.
This is the back of the house. There are 4 bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs and a dinning room, living room, kitchen, and a library down. There is a large utility room and half bath also.
Most of the front of the property is lined with mature bright forsythia, along with magnolia, weeping willows, crape myrtles and pretty mature pine trees.
This garage used to have a wood stove in it. There is also a wood barn on the property with two 4' wide doors.
With 6 acres there is plenty of room for boat trailers and gardens. The tenant has a horse.
Refuge has 3 fireplaces. This one is in the kitchen and has pretty brick flooing in front.
This is the dining room fireplace and it used the same chimmney as the kitchen fireplace.
Here is the library fireplace.
There is shelving on 3 sides of the library. Its a cozy room in the winter with a good baaok.
The previous tenant neglected to buy a shower curtain for over a year and the water just spilled down the entire time. The house has a lot of damage but at the same time has much charm and many large rooms.
