While my photo didn't expose the buoy markers, I could see them quite clearly from the shoreline; therefore the mouth of the Chesapeake is less than ½ mile. Sunrise is my best part of the day although not catching a sunset here is really missing out.
You'll have a sense of the wilds of the Chesapeake here in Hacksneck, so unspoiled by world events and only touched by those who are caretakers of the land.
